I’m your average white, working-class-Western-raised happily DINK cis woman with a healthy portion of privilege, a huge amount of existential angst and a disproportionate level of faith in the power of storytelling to help us cope with life under capitalism and the climate crisis.
So, here I am exploring alternative narratives about culture, consumption, contentment and success in the faint hope that questioning some of the most pernicious storylines can help us arrive at a less unequal and environmentally challenged world.
